The Crossroads United Pastoral Charge came into being on July 1st, 1998, and is made up of Carman United Church in Carman and St. Andrews United Church in Elm Creek.
Carman and Elm Creek communities are both located on “crossroads” and are united by one road to each other. These “crossroads” are significant to the history, present and future of each community. The word “crossroads” symbolizes our faith; the “Cross” is our symbol of our Saviour and “road” represents the journey we take in life and in faith. “United” means that we believe in the mission statement of the “United Church of Canada” and also that we have chosen to make our faith journey united together as one Pastoral Charge.

3) To nurture one another in faith.

1) To share our life together as people of all ages and differences.
2) To welcome people at all stages of their life’s journey.
3) To serve and to care for others in the larger world.
4) To seek justice.
