LENT 2022
As we enter the season of Lent families and children will find a new Family Lent Devotional activity here - a short Bible verse, a question to consider and a simple action for each day between now and Easter! Ash Wednesday, March 4, is Day One and then we count 40 days to Easter on Sunday, April 17!

Have a Heart Day, now through February 14, 2022. All United Church Communities of Faith are invited to take some time by February 14 to mark a different kind of Valentine’s Day. Have a Heart Day is a project of the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society. Led by Dr. Cindy Blackstock, the Society educates about and advocates for the rights of Indigenous kids across Canada, working directly with Indigenous kids and communities to do this.
Have a Heart Day is about kids, and we hope non-Indigenous kids can learn about the different experiences of kids in Canada and take action out of a sense of compassion. We also hope Indigenous kids can speak from their hearts about what they want and need. For more information, ideas for activities and resources, visit the United Church Have a Heart web page. Although our formal Sunday School season ends on Pentecost (May 23), SS at HOME resources are still available on our website for you to enjoy and share with the children in your life! We look forward to gathering together in person when it is safe to do so, as we continue learning and growing in faith!
